- Germaine Salsberg:
Germaine will recreate some of Bill Robinson's movie musical routines and expand on them as well. These routines are absolute gems of simplicity, rhythm and style, which are often overlooked. In the study the participants will realize why Bill Robinson was one of the most loved performers of his day.
- Jason Samuels-Smith:
Jason will emphasize on the clarity and precision in Bill Robinson's work. He will take original Bojangles' tap steps and alternate them to his own unique style.
- Avi Miller & Ofer Ben:
Avi & Ofer will teach a Bill Robinson's original - Doing The New Low Down, a complete tap routine that they studied from the incomparable Dr. Buster Brown. This beautiful choreography was handed down in history in the following lineage: originated by 'Bojangles', via Coles and Atkins - that performed with this routine as well, to the 'Copasetics', and Buster Brown. Some of the steps in this routine got several interpretations through the years. The participants will experience them all. This routine is a must in any historic presentation.
