    An intensive weekend of exciting the Phil Black Tap Experience,
    Included:

    Tap Courses:
    With: Phil Black
    Phil Black - assisted by Carol Kellner and Barbara Kossen - taught two of his famous routines - Nice Work If You Can Get It and Just One Of Those Things.

    Tap Master Classes:
    With: Lisa Hopkins, Alan Onickel, and Max Pollak
    Three leading tap artists taught reflections on Phil Black's legacy through their personal work. Each drew on Black's influence and contribution to his/her own career.

    Tradition In Tap - Award Presentation:
    With: Kathleen Cirioli
    Kathleen Cirioli, a member of the Tradition In Tap - Committee, presented Mr. Black the Tradition In Tap - Award, for: "Outstanding Achievements & Significant Contribution To The Tradition And Art Of Tap Dance".

    Tap History Talks:
    With: Kathleen Cirioli
    Kathleen Cirioli is a member of the 'Tradition In Tap - Advisory Committee' and one of Mr. Black's many students who studied with him for a number of years, and was greatly inspired by him. She led the emotional 'Tap History Talks' while interviewing Mr. Black, and adding her own personal input.

    Video Presentation:
    With: Prof. Hank Smith
    Hank Smith is a well known tap dancer, and collector of video & movie clips. He has an extensive library of material starting from the early days of tap dance. Hank presented some clips of Phil Black and of his choreography on film and video.

    Tap Exercises:
    With: Germaine Salsberg, Avi Mille & Ofer Ben
    Our method of teaching tap is based on daily tap exercises. Germaine Salsberg, Avi Miller & Ofer Ben led morning tap drills - each with his/her own unique teaching style.
